Channel 4 has confirmed airing details for its new comedy series, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.

Based on a cult hit web series of the same name, all six episodes will be published on streaming/catch-up platform All4 on Monday 12th September.

Described as "The Muppet Show relocated to Twin Peaks", the series is a comedy spoof of children's programming, along the lines of hit Broadway and West End musical Avenue Q.

The half hour episodes - Jobs, Death, Family, Friendship, Transport and Electricity - will also air on Channel 4 from an unconfirmed date, expected later in September.
