Frank Sidebottom CD collection contains previously unheard tracks

A new CD collection featuring the work of Frank Sidebottom includes 20 tracks that have never been released before.
Cherry Red Records are set to release the 3 CD set Frank Sidebottom: Little Box of Bobbins - Frank's Fantastic Anthology, 1985 - 1993 in July, featuring over 100 songs featuring the character played by the late Chris Sievey.
Described as "the most detailed and definitive look at the career of cult hero Frank Sidebottom", the box set includes the two previously released collections of Frank Sidebottom tracks alongside a new third CD featuring 36 tracks that have never been on CD before.
This third disc features the 16 tracks from Frank's EPs for Regal Zonophone from 1985-1986 on CD for the first time, as well as 20 previously unreleased tracks of Frank performing at various gigs in Manchester from 1985-1988.
The set also features an introduction by former bandmate Mark Radcliffe and an exclusive interview with Sievey's son Stirling.
Frank Sidebottom was noted for his distinctive look, which was achieved by using a fibreglass model head. Sievey regularly performed in character as Sidebottom on the British comedy circuit in the 1980s and 1990s, and building up a cult following in the process. Sievey passed away in June 2010. The feature film Frank, telling the story of the character, followed in 2014, starring Michael Fassbender.

Disc 2 contains E, F, G & H. The Best Of... Volume Two, Cherry Red's 2009 follow-up.
Disc 3 is made up of 36 tracks that have never been on CD before, with 20 of those never having been released at all.
