We flash back to before Mary was manager of Seriously Fried Chicken. The branch was a mess, the staff were complacent and it was run by a drug-addled waster.
Clive calls Mary in to Head Office to tell her that he has fired the manager and wants her to turn things around - she has one week to improve the branch. When Mary arrives at the restaurant she realises she has her work cut out for her.
