Lauren goes to Manchester, where Craig is living, to attend a job interview at a digital design agency. Craig tells her everything's great and he's living the dream - but actually he's friendless and lonely. His flat, though spacious, is a filthy mess.
Agency boss Alex is a bit of a nightmare but Lauren gets the job - starting the next day! Craig meets Declan and offers him a place in his flat. Declan accepts, and Lauren needs a place - so they're all forced flatmates. It's awkward at first - Declan and Lauren are officially On A Break - but they reach an uneasy truce.
