The 2000 show that launched Eddie Izzard's Hollywood career and a seminal performance from one of the foremost stand-ups of his generation recorded live in New York City's Town Hall. Izzard takes ideas and situations and extrapolates them into bizarre, tangential, absurd and surreal comic narratives. The programme includes his show-stopping account of the Death Star canteen derived from Izzard's observation that there had to be some sort of source of food (such as a cafeteria) on the Death Star in Star Wars. Eddie imagines Darth Vader attempting to order Penne all'arrabbiata for lunch, only to be forced to get a tray (which is wet) and later be forced to admit that he is 'Jeff Vader' in order to get respect.
