The Horne Section is to publish Make Some Noise, a book about music aimed at 8-12 year-olds.

Subtitled, "the mind-blowing guide to all things music by the world's funniest band", the blurb promises the book "will tell you everything you need to know to be a music genius - with bizarre tales, absurd history and unbelievable facts."

Referring to the Taskmaster star who fronts the group, it adds: "Band leader Alex Horne has also added some special tasks throughout the book, so readers will be making their own music in no time at all - without even leaving the house!"

The book, featuring illustrations from Rob Flowers, will be published by Puffin in July 2024. It is available to pre-order now.

The Horne Section are Alex Horne (band leader), Joe Auckland (trumpet and banjo), Mark Brown (saxophone and guitar), Will Collier (bass and guitar), Ben Reynolds (drums and percussion) and Ed Sheldrake (keyboards).

It was announced in November that they will tour live format The Horne Section's Hit Show between March and November 2024, and - as previously revealed by British Comedy Guide - the band are also working on a second series of their Channel 4 sitcom, The Horne Section TV Show.

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
