Only Fools And Horses. Del (David Jason)

A second book written as the character Del Boy is to be released.

You Know It Makes Sense, Lessons From The Derek Trotter School of Business (And Life) is due to be published in November.

The Only Fools And Horses linked publication follows on from the character's "groundbreaking literary debut", 2015's He Who Dares, My Genuine Autobiography.

Publishers Ebury say: "This time Del is writing about his most favouritest subject: the life that is business and the business that is life.

"Jam-packed with personal insight, tips, warnings, case studies and interviews, You Know It Makes Sense, Lessons From The Derek Trotter School of Business (And Life) really is the upwardly-mobile yuppie's wet dream."

Jim Sullivan, the son of creator John Sullivan, is to write the new publication.

Andrew Goodfellow, Deputy Publisher at Ebury, comments: "The Del Boy so loved by millions has been brought to life brilliantly once again by Jim Sullivan. So now you too can now learn the secret to becoming a business guru like what he is."

Jim Sullivan himself says: "We're delighted to be working with the team at Ebury again and sharing more of Del's insights into the world of commerce."

Meanwhile the character Del comments: "It's often been said that to the world of business I am what Ronald McDonald is to the world of cows. So it's no surprise really that I ended up writing this book. Designed pacifically to aid the twenty-first century entrepreneur, my aim was to map out a one-size-fits-all recipe for success. And I'm chuffed to say that is exactly what I've done. Covering everything from negotiation tactics to handling disgruntled punters to how best to keep your bowels regular, this truly is the creme de la menthe of business guides."

You Know It Makes Sense, Lessons From The Derek Trotter School of Business (And Life) is now available to pre-order via the links below.

Au Revois!

The name's Trotter, Derek Trotter, and the world of business is my speciality. When it comes to the art of closing deals I've been around the track more times than a lurcher. Not only have I been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, I've gone back round to do it again, printed my own t-shirts, knocked 'em out at ridiculously low prices and cut the competition out of the market.

But the commodities game ain't all champagne and skittles. It's a rocky road full of potholes, speed cameras, people who don't indicate, mouthy cyclists, and all sorts of obstacles designed to get on your tits. You Know It Makes Sense is the definitive business guide, designed pacifically to help steer you in the right direction. Packed full of insider knowledge, tips and warnings, think of it as your personal stat-nav on the corporate highway.

And whether you're a director, middle management, a junior staff hotshot, or the one that fetches the sandwiches, it will help you get to where you're going.
