Estelle thinks her marriage with Paul is in a mess, and both of them are saddened when two of the boys leave home. Pilfrey successfully hypnotises Paul to make chicken noises when he is sexually aroused and to fall asleep on command. Gwendolen suggests Estelle moves into her flat and Estelle agrees - until she and Paul meet and reminisce about their early days together.
