Paul suspects Estelle is having an affair and goes spying on her. During his surveillance, he is mistaken for a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and gets taken to one of their meetings; family and colleagues become convinced he really is an alcoholic. The confusion mounts as Estelle arranges a surprise party and Paul is convinced the list of partygoers is actually a list of her lovers.
