Tommy and the Weeks is described as "a fantastical audience sketch show fronted by two unlikely friends: Tom, a papery, winsome waif (think an Elizabethan Jarvis Cocker) and Ed, an aggressive, snobby, right-wing 80s lothario (think Gordon Gekko standing astride two mountains simultaneously playing a guitar solo)."

Sketches evoke worlds in which relationships have giftshops at the end, lighthouses compete next door to one another in a free market economy, Kinder Eggs contain miniaturised criminals and one man's struggle to open a jar of pickled onions becomes an epic quest.
