Perrier Award nominated comedian, author, explorer and 'air recycler' Tim FitzHigham is a man with bad ideas. He once rowed the Channel in a bathtub. Now he is attempting to recreate a series of bizarre bets from the 18th and 19th Centuries.
The pilot episode focuses on whether Tim could make a letter travel 50 miles in one hour (using only old fashioned methods).
The first series included an episode that focused on Tim attempting to have a coat made from scratch in just one day; and a challenge in which Tim had to get a cheeseboard to travel a distance of four-and-a-half miles in under 100 throws.
Series 2 started with Tim trying to walk blindfolded from London's Royal Academy to the Royal Exchange building in under an hour, and ending with him taking on Alex Horne again in a challenge involving a horse and dots on a piece of paper.
