Radio 4 is developing a new improvised comedy format.

Wing It will see "improv legends compete alongside the form's modern all-stars".

Man Down and Taskmaster star Mike Wozniak will host the show, and he will invite guests to play various improv games.

Featuring the tagline "No Script. No Prep. No Clue.", the show is described as follows: "This exciting new Radio 4 show sees improv legends compete alongside the form's modern all-stars as well as comics who are willing to give improv a stab, in a series of hilarious solo and team-based challenges."

An episode will be recorded on Tuesday 5th December at London venue 21Soho (Free tickets).

Further details about the comedians taking part are expected to be revealed closer to broadcast.

Aside from hosting Wing It, Wozniak is also set to record Junior Taskmaster in December (free tickets), the new spin-off in which he plays the 'Little Alex Horne role' to host Rose Matafeo.
