Stand-up comedian and actor Miles Jupp has been unveiled as the host of a new Radio 4 panel game.

It's Not What You Know is described as akin to Mr And Mrs, but for the whole family. It will test the knowledge of panellists on their own families.

Jupp has previously hosted the BBC Radio Scotland panel show Swots, but may be better recognised by those north of the border as Captain Fanshaw from BBC Two Scotland sitcom Gary: Tank Commander.

He also featured in Rev as Lay Reader Nigel McCall, the second series of which recently finished filming.

The pilot of It's Not What You Know will be recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre on Friday 16th September.
