Ed appears to have stepped on the gravy train at last as he takes up a professorship at Much Wenlock Court - a prestigious writing retreat. He hopes this will lead him to, at the very least, a contentious Saturday Essay on the Today Programme.
However, this retreat has been set up by one Jaz Milvain so could Ed's change in fortune be too good to be true?
