Giving your script a Perfect Page 1

Page 1 is arguably the most important of your entire script. Most producers and script readers will read to the end of Page 10 before they make up their minds; few will press onto the end of a script they either don't like, or is poorly written.

But Page 1 sets the tone. It is your first chance to impress them - to show what you can do, and reassure them you can write. Should your script get made it is even more crucial: most viewers/listeners do not stick around for long with a new comedy. Like producers, they decide...
