Problem with your script? Put a line in

All sorts of things can go wrong with your script.

Perhaps the stories don't mesh together satisfactorily. Perhaps a character's motivation isn't clear. Perhaps one of your characters is funny, but insufficiently sympathetic.

Obviously the difficulties a writer can run into are legion - and will vary in their specifics from script to script.

But often the solution is simpler than you immediately realise.

Indeed, sometimes the answer is simply to put a line in.

"Put a line in."

You'd be forgiven for worrying that it sounds too simple.

We are pre-programmed to believe that fixing scripts or other pieces...
