Jenny Éclair to host 'Taskmaster: The People's Podcast'
Jenny Éclair is taking over from Lou Sanders as the host of Taskmaster: The People's Podcast.
A contestant in the last series, Éclair will now appear alongside established 'stat-man' Jack Bernhardt for the new run of the podcast, which is set to tie in with Series 16. The new set of 10 episodes launches on Channel 4 on Thursday 21st September.
The producers explain: "Each week, Jenny and Jack will take a deep dive into the world of Taskmaster, talking to behind-the-scenes guests, superfans and some of the most beloved Taskmaster characters, in the official fan podcast from the producers of the BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning show.
"Taking over from Series 8 champion and Pantsuit Princess Lou Sanders, the new series will bring more guests, more behind the scenes insights and of course the fan favourite stats from stat-man Jack Bernhardt and Series 15 veteran Jenny Éclair."
Taskmaster: The People's Podcast was launched as a format in April 2022. Meanwhile, Taskmaster: The Podcast, which has been running since 2020, will continue to be hosted by Ed Gamble.
New episodes of Taskmaster: The Podcast will appear each Thursday at 10pm (straight after the new episode has aired) and Taskmaster: The People's Podcast episodes will be published each Friday morning at 10am.
