Johnny is an actor, entertainer, and writer. He's embraced all forms of the business in his rich and varied career, encompassing musical theatre, drama, television, radio, and film appearing in productions for BBC, Thames, HTV, and Yorkshire TV. He's appeared in Gavin & Stacey, Stella, has directed three pantos and a musical for the Welsh TV channel S4C and co-wrote, Say It With Flowers, a drama on the life of Dorothy Squires with Meic Povey which opened at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff before going on to do a successful tour. His latest venture is a biography on the life of Dorothy Squires entitled My Heart is Bleeding, which was published by The History Press.
