Rob Copland has published a recording of his award-winning show, Mainstream Muck (Gimme Some of That), on YouTube.

The high-energy debut show ran at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival, before going on to several showcase runs in venues including London's Museum Of Comedy and The Soho Theatre.

At the end of the Edinburgh Festival, voting conducted with comedians appearing at the Fringe resulted in it being named Best Show in the Comedians' Choice Awards.

The blurb for Mainstream Muck explains: "Rob Copland is going mainstream - splish splosh! Get yourself down to the river bank and enjoy the debut hour show from one of the most exciting live acts around."

The special, which can be seen below, was recorded on the final day of the show's run in the Chamber Room in Edinburgh's The Banshee Labyrinth.

Copland says: "I had the idea of recording the show in a really slick and professional way at some point... But then realised that wouldn't be in anyway fitting for this kind of show. So I plucked up the courage to watch a few of the very limited recordings I took of it during the fringe and I think this version captures it's fast and loose energy while reflecting the mise-en-scène of a free fringe show in a basement that has a leak in the ceiling.

"I'm so proud of Mainstream Muck (Gimme Some of That) and everything it's achieved, I'd love to keep it on my mantle forever and leave its legacy in the hands of mystique and hearsay... But it feels right to release it back in the water and let it be free to take on a life of its own."
