Milo McCabe has released a recording of his Troy Hawke stand-up show Tiles of the Unexpected on YouTube for free.

The character comic first performed Tiles of the Unexpected at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival, before going on to record it in April 2021 at The Comedy Crate club in Northampton.

The hour-long video, sub-titled Kanye, Ikea and Me, is described as "a linear comedic explanation of IKEA's ghoulish ties with the CIA tying in some eerily prescient logic about Kanye's current political stance... via Scrabble mathematics..."

Since the show was recorded, McCabe has had significant viral success with his Greeters Guild videos. The format, which sees him standing outside shops and events in character as Hawke and offering people compliments, has resulted in his online following growing to over a million fans.

Having sold every ticket available at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe, he is set to head on tour in 2023 with Troy Hawke - Sigmund Troy'd.
