Phil is a stand-up comedian and one third of sketch trio Daphne. You may know Phil from appearances on Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News Of You and BBC Three's Top Coppers.

I had a great time with Phil clicking around where he grew up in Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu is named after the famous mountain Kinabalu which I had trouble pronouncing at first but have since learnt how to say. Phil recently returned to Malaysia to climb the mountain and named his current stand-up show 'Kinabalu' in reference to the experience. I haven't climbed it but I did get a sneaky peak on Google Street View and it looks really big.

Other places we look at in this episode include Bath where Phil moved to go to school when he first came to the UK and Cambridge where he tells me all about doing comedy as part of the famous Cambridge Footlights. We also visit Tokyo, Japan which became Phil's favourite place in the world after performing there on his recent tour.
