Following much speculation, it has now been confirmed that Shooting Stars, the BBC comedy panel game starring Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, will return this Christmas.

The comedy, which gave rise to 'The Dove from Above' and the catchphrases 'Eranu' and 'Uvavu', will return with a new episode marking the 15th anniversary of the show's creation, as well as a clip show featuring the best moments and outtakes. Matt Lucas has also confirmed that he will return as the really big baby and man with the scores – George Dawes.

The new episode, to be made by Vic and Bob's own independent production company Pett Productions, has yet to reveal who will be the guest stars, although Russell Brand is one rumour. It is not yet known if former regulars Ulrika Johnson, Mark Lamarr, Will Self or Johnny Vegas will return.
