Ania Magliano arrives at the Edinburgh Fringe off the back of winning the Best New Show title at the Leicester Comedy Festival earlier this year.

Combining storytelling, snappy observations, silliness and some surreal tangents she delves into her background as a half Polish, half Italian bisexual 24-year-old in her debut show, titled Absolutely No Worries If Not.

Tell us about your show...

It's my first hour of stand-up. It's got jokes about coming out to my parents as bisexual, LUSH [the shop] and my aforementioned cat.

It's autobiographical, honest and also pretty silly. It's about coming to terms with who I am, but in a fun way. Whilst it's told from my perspective (a 24 year-old bisexual who went to an all girls school); I hope it's a show that anyone can enjoy regardless of their identity.

How would you sum up your 20s so far?

Unprecedented times (got 3 terrible haircuts).

One of your TikTok videos went viral recently. How does it feel?

It made all the pain go away!

Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?

In a dream world, I'd love it to be Margot Robbie and for everyone to think it was incredibly accurate casting.
