After the rapture and his second coming to earth, Jesus Christ finds himself transported to Hell. Confused and disorientated, Jesus must find his way through the depths of the Underworld to get to the bottom of what is seemingly a rather catastrophic clerical error. Only with the help of his companion Beelzebub, demoted for borderline sexually assault on a co-worker, can he prevail over the comedic perils and old arch enemies of the Underworld, and return to Heaven... which means he must confront the big cheese of Hell itself: Satan.
