After a massive year of live touring, storming the Irish festival scene, and topping the download charts with radio show The Second Republic, multi-award winning comedian Chris Kent returns to the Edinburgh Fringe with his brand new show, Second Fix. Having recovered from an untimely, but equally amusing dose of the mumps at last year's festival, expect rip-roaring laughter as he brings you on an edge of your seat journey, retelling tales of mishap and madness.

The show highlights concerns of addiction; both to comedy and cheese - and in true addict style, holds no respect for the consequences. It is about using humor, both as a shield and weapon, and being happiest when self-depreciation goes well.

One hit will get you hooked on this clever, surreal and simply hilarious comedy solution.

In 2012 Chris Kent was listed as "One to watch" in The Dubliner magazine's 'Red Hot and Rising', and earlier this year was voted as one of the Top Five Irish Comedians by Hot Press Magazine.

Panelist on RTE Radio show The Second Republic, recipient of the 2010 Comedy Smack down Award at the Galway Comedy festival, and Winner of the Bulmer's Nuttin' But Funny Comedy Award 2009.
