Greg Proops is a stand-up comic from San Francisco. He lives in Hollywood. It's not that bad. Really. His new stand-up show is an hour of vitriol and profanity. With breaks for pointed commentary. Greg supports Occupy and hates what you hate.

Following a sell-out season at London's Soho Theatre this year and popular appearances at The Udderbelly on London's Southbank, Greg Proops returns to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year with an hour of vitriol and profanity.

With breaks for pointed commentary.

Greg Proops is a stand-up comic from San Francisco who lives in Hollywood. It's not that bad. Really.

Best known for his unpredictable appearances on the improvised comedy Whose Line is it Anyway? He appeared on both the UK and US versions. His caustic gags and lengthy diatribes have been enjoyed by audiences throughout the world including festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Wellington, Auckland, Austin, San Francisco, Montreal and Edinburgh ... indeed he first performed at Edinburgh Fringe almost 20 years ago.

Professor Proops also has a hit Podcast called The Smartest Man in the World In the last year he has recorded it live in Australia, New Zealand, Montreal, Edinburgh, San Francisco, Austin, London, aboard ship in the Caribbean and somehow Cleveland. Find it at www.proopcast.com - He will be recording the Podcast during this year's Festival Fringe at The Gilded Balloon on 16th, 19th, 22nd at 10.30pm.
