Roll up! Roll up! Come while away a magical hour with Malcolm Hardee Award nominee for original comedic content; Joey Page. Meander through a rambling and pleasantly distracting journey, looking at the subject of human species through the skewed and off-beat looking glass that is Joey Page's chaotic mind. Veering from bespoke minutiae to the far-fetched future, Joey presents charmingly sporadic snapshots of human life and muddles them into his surreal yet quaintly imagined human museum. 'Brilliantly inventive and imaginative and very funny' (Josie Long); 'Spaced out magical humour' (ThreeWeeks).

Joey's new show Marvellous Human Museum brings different dimensions to his debut. Joey honestly believes that having "fidgeted and sleeplessly wrestled" his way through the making of his"difficult second album" he is very proud of the outcome.

"I am confident that people who like something slightly different will come and enjoy it, allowing themselves to be taken away from the woes of modern day life into his skewed offbeat world."

Biography

Joey Page is an unusual young beast of an entertainer, with a comedic take on the world based around surreal escapism.

Joey loves to write about nonsensical subjects and enjoys performing them in with cheeky aplomb.

Also a keen writer, Joey is currently working on a script for a traditional sitcom with BBC Radio 4, as well as working on a highly original and exciting project.

In 2009 his debut Edinburgh show - The Eccentric Treasure of the Future was ground-breaking enough to be nominated for the Malcolm Hardee award for comic originality

Mr Page's comedy challenges and delights the human brain and his new show brings different dimensions to his debut. Joey honestly believes that having "fidgeted and sleeplessly wrestled" his way through making of his "difficult second album" he is very proud of the outcome.

Joey is confident that people who like something slightly different will come and enjoy it, allowing themselves to be taken away from the woes of modern day life into his skewed offbeat world.
