This is a question the actress and BBC Radio 2 newsreader Chandrika asked repeatedly in August 2009, because 40 hours before the opening night of her Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, her bike was hit by a taxi. As she was riding her bike at the time, Chandrika suffered a fractured skull and a serious brain injury, which left her incapable of stringing a sentence together and little understanding of what had happened.
