Has Ever Decreasing Circles got it's own boxset yet? I know the series were released individually, but it deserves the boxset treatment.

Flipping heck, £14.99 at Play, when in stock! That is a definite bargain.

Well it has been deleted, so you're looking at perhaps double that.

...Probably should have mentioned that in the original post, shouldn't I? :)

And just for the record: https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/ever_decreasing_circles/

Deleted? Cheeky bastards! How dare they! Hopefully it'll get another re-release.

Just looking at the biogs of John Esmonde and saw Hope It Rains starring Tom Bell. Anybody seen this?

You have to wonder who would think, we're casting a sitcom, let's get Tom Bell...

I don't think it is deleted

I got my copy recently from the hut for about 15 quid, plus it's available in hmv instore, maybe its the last few copies.

If you see it, snap it up. Its got some wonderful commentary tracks with Briers, Wilton and Egan.

AFAIK, it's a relatively recent deletion, so copies still available will be left over ones, I would imagine. In the past, I've seen obscure DVDs in HMV stores literally a good couple of years after they were deleted.

This might seem a dopey question, but what does deleted mean in terms of DVD's? That it's a discontinued line? And after they've all been sold, there won't be anymore?

Correct.

This DVD is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired! It's a stiff! Bereft of life!

The individual series DVD's also seem to be as rare as hen's teeth so have these been deleted too?

I got the first two series but ended up selling them because I couldn't find the others anywhere!

Looks like I'll have to get my skates on to get the box-set now.

Yes. Looooong ago.

That was a bit silly!
