Stewie and Brian

Is this one of the best comedy partnerships around?

Yes.

It is rather fabulous.

No.

Family Guy is appalling.

You don't count, Mr Sutcliffe.

I don't like that other one that is almost the same but different...

But I looove Family Guy.

I do.

I count how many times FG uses this crap technique:

"It's like the time Peter did something totally wacky involving a minor US celebrity"

- Cut to wacky moment involving a minor US celebrity used to cover up the fact it's run out of ideas, and when it could have taken over The Simpsons which was floundering it didn't because it simply wasn't any good.

American Dad? It's no where near as good as FG.

Stewie & Brian are great. Loved it when Stewie beat the shit out of Brain. :)

American Dad is extremely poor. Family Guy is immense.

Do you think it's better than The Simpsons?

I think Family Guy is much better than the Simpsons. So is South Park.

Better than The Simpsons at it's peak?

Well, to me personally yes.
But I've never really loved The Simpsons.

I can see why people like South Park, it IS good.

But to me FG is just derivative rubbish. I did actually like the first series, I don't know if I'd like it should I re-watch it though.

Derivative of South Park or Simpsons? Or both?
