Actually - and this is a little known fact - Muhammad Abdul Bari used to be a top stand up. Great act. Made his name on The Tube after prograssing from appearing as one of Benny Hill's 'Hills Angels'. I recall his catchphrase. "Islamabad? Well it ain't good"

To think, I've sat and had certain thoughts whilst watching Dr Bari gyrating..

Actually, I'm pretty sure that Network did release a collection of 'best' Tube moments a while back.

I prefer ITV1's The Tube, however; fly-on-the-wall type documentary about the Underground.

Smarties tubes were a big part of my childhood... especially popping out the plastic caps from the tubes into other childrens faces, trying to get a 'bull' (eye) ...and then later making up words from the letters on the back... T F K N C & U got the best prices as 'swapsies' for some reason...
