No, the league has not been hacked - only my account. The hacker could have messed about with the league through me but hasn't done so - probably because it was either a bot or he didn't see that I was a league admin. There's no mole, FPL claim my password was revealed in a data breach by another company but there are two rebuttals to that - if my account was simply hacked and not their software, how was the hacker able to make 15 transfers without it costing any points? They had also played the bench boost chip which indicates they didn't use a free hit or wildcard.

Secondly even if it wasn't directly their fault that my password was compromised, there is no cost to them to undo the sabotage. This isn't the Wild West - are we playing this game with no protection or restitution of any kind from the provider? Not very professional if so.

See above, Bill. It's a mystery. The hacker appears to have hacked the game in some way and for that reason FPL should restore me to where I was. I'm waiting to hear back from a second email but I didn't think they will reply. So far they told me to use my wildcard to get my team back. Nice.

Incidentally here's what happens if I do use my wildcard - I have to pay the current prices for players I've had since game week one and I can't afford to buy back the players I had - I'm £1.6m short. ?

You've still got one left as we were given an extra free hit. Seems the best way to recover from that, don't rely on the FPL to do anything.

But extra chips or not, the last minute no notice inclusion of games is making this season a lottery. I bought Pope the week before just to cash in on double games, then the Burnley-Newcastle game was cancelled early in the week so I benched him. It was then uncancelled on the deadline day for that GW, which cost me 17points. That game should've gone onto the next game week and not inserted in the last minutes of this GW with no notice to the players. I've emailed the FPL my disgust.

Eriksen feels well underpriced at 5.5. Massive question marks over playing time of course, but a no-brainer for 5th midfielder if you're on WC. Great run of fixtures too, after this week.

Well he's been passed medically fit to play, but match fit is something else. If he wasn't thought match fit by Inter then he definitely won't be for the premship. How much of the move is just a favour from his fellow Dane just to give him a bit of hope for the World Cup? There are other 5.5 midfielders scoring a few points at the mo.

It seems the best way yes, although it is a complete waste of a chip as there are only nine games this week and 14 in GW26, and it doesn't get me back the transfer I made before my team was hacked or give me back any of the team value I would be accruing at the moment.

The FPL has been unbelievably shit. Not only did they not re-instate my team they didn't give even me the best advice - their suggestion was to 'use your wildcard if you still have it". The hacker placed me in a Spurs league that I can't leave. That alone suggests he has admin control of that league so they could even find him if they cared.

Poor but not as bad as bringing in Spurs and Leicester players on a wildcard for a sweet run of games and getting historic levels of underperformance and three cancelled games each due to Covid. I have had 5 game week ranks of 6m+ since doing that, and had only just got my team back in shape before the hack.

I really must protest m'lud, as my client has pointed out on numerous occasions that he started a week late and should therefore be credited with extra points, but the mysterious Mr Kipper, it seems is bent and not forthcoming, and that this person in the witness box, one Mr..........er, er,.............(checks notes) Mr Goodlegs has lost his marbles.

Can we expect interlopers again this season... and do you have the admin rights to kick them if we do?

Theoretically there's no chance of interlopers and yes I can suspend them if they join.

In the real world I don't believe that FPL is being honest with people who've been hacked as there is no way to make 15 transfers without using a chip or incurring hits and that is what the hacker did to my account. I suspect that the game is very vulnerable to hacking and it will take until next season for FPL to do something about it.

In the meantime I've switched email accounts and am using the strongest password that the game allows, so I can't personally do any more. Believe me I'm more pissed about this than I can say. It's all very well f**king up your own chances but having random Spurs-supporting pricks from Hungary doing it for you is something else.

Hoping to keep my good January form going into this month. Top half finish is the aim. Bring it on.
