Absolutely. Not one of Ronnie B's best remembered sitcoms, but I always quite liked Clarence, and Jo Tewson was brilliant in it.

RIP Jean-Luc Godard

Hmm, I found that film flashy and shallow, far from the film noir I was expecting, it was all about his trickery with his jump cuts and everything. Thought that sort of thing worked better in comedies by Lester and the like, though they were obviously inspired by him.

RIP Her Majesty the Queen btw, has no one heard?

I think that's the point, really.
The whole French New Wave started with him.
And I don't mean Plastic Bertrand.

Assisted suicide too.

RIP Mrs McClusky from Grange Hill. A.k.a. actress Gwyneth Powell.

She was not known much in the UK. I don't know a single song she sang - but all the same RIP

"Coal Miner's Daughter". Also a film of the same name.

RIP Robbie Coltrane
