What's this? A new version out?

Yup it's the flagship of Virgin comics, written by Garth Ennis it's rather good.

The graphic novel of the first 7 issues is out in September, reccomended.

Must rush out and buy it.

I've been saying for years that English comics are crap and we should get back to things like Eagle, Victor and Tiger again. Anyone fancy starting one up? Gavin?

I'm reading Mafalda, a Spanish comic! :D

Do any of the above involve killing Germans and/or Frenchmen?

Sounds like the new Tarantino movie should be right up your alley.

It's been years since I read a Koontz novel, but I went through a period where I plowed through most of them. It came in handy when I moved to Orange County and was already familiar with all the place names. I guess I'd also do well in Maine after all those Stephen King books I read as a teenager.

Has he ever had a decent film adapted from one of his books?

Not that I can think of. But I have high hopes for the movie adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's 'The Road' which I finished a few months ago. I think Viggo Mortensen was a great choice for the lead role.

Everything Kuntz writes is like a watered down version of King for nervous readers with ulcers.

Except the Odd Thomas books, they're ace.

Except I'm on 4 and it's all gone a bit soggy.

I'll be alright if I ever move to Discworld.

I have a time share in AnkhMorpork I'll be spending the weekend of February 30th there next year.

Yeah - but don't tell Finck.

I used to love Warlord.

Charley's war was one of the greatest comics ever.
