I'm also quite bad for saying that I won't do things next year, and then I still do them.

Will you be getting pregnant next year then?

Laughing out loud Not exactly what I meant!

I'm constantly saying I'll do things next year, but I never do! :(

Make sure you do then - or you'll end up like me!

Pigs can fly by Barry Cryer.

Loads of anecdotes and memories.

His writing partner Ray Cameron said to him once "I wish just once I could mention something that doesn't remind you of something else!"

Is Barry Cryer gay?

[/non sequitur]

Not necessarily funny in itself but if you have a great memory you can always think of something funny to say.

Is Barry Cryer gay?

Don't think so. Why? Would you fancy him if he was?

Heh.

No I just keep wondering, but never finding out.

I read the Virgin comics Dan Dare yesterday. It's ace but it may have made me Tory.

You may like this one it has a nice mixture of modernity and stiff upper lip. And one villain is very clearly based on Tony Blair.

I loved the surrealist slightly socialist 80s version in Deadline.

A beautiful thing. Teary

What's this? A new version out?

I always liked the 2000AD Dan Dare.

I remember the original Eagle from about 1963 but they relaunched it in the 80s. I think that was before 2000AD comic & Judge Dredd.
