What are you watching on TV? Page 2,277

Well try not to be. Its aim is to rile people like you.
The story has been milked to death.
The incident happened and upset everyone at the time, not just the reds.

Partygate on C4 catch-up.
Absolutely sickening.
Angry all over again

No wonder bojo the clown and fishi are refusing to hand over their WhatsApp messages still

It shows the privilege and intitlement of the arrogant shower of people running the country

"I was so upset I voted for them again"
I'll continue being angry, if it's all right with you.

That must make you one of those "velvet and iron" socialists that Mordaunt was blithering on about in her audition for the next season of Game of Thrones

That was quite a turn she put on.
They're all auditioning for Leader of the Opposition.
NB: I watched the speech on television, so this is still on topic - just in case the grey magic-marker is hovering 😁

Duty Free - last episode

Great sitcom

I liked Keith Barron in pretty well anything he did.

Definitely

Gwen Taylor was fantastic in this show too

That is a presumption based on nothing I have ever said.

More of an educated guess.
Happy to be proved wrong.

I'm Torrence... That was my impersonation of Eddie Izzard in The Day of the Triffids. Good, isn't it?

The Long Shadow (ITV/ITVx)
Really well made 7-parter about the hunt for The Yorkshire Ripper.
Slow-paced, not in the slightest bit sensationalist, with a ton of good people in it.
Captures the period brilliantly, and shines a light on the sexism prevalent in the force at the time (and still?) that hampered the investigation.
Recommended.

I watched them film big parts of it. I was working at a factory whose front offices were used as the police station.
I was confused by the massive lighting rig that was outside just shining on the office wall.
But watching the first episode, my confusion was cleared up. It was to shine daylight through the police office window blinds.

I also blagged a breakfast from the crews 'chuck wagon. Toby wotsit was sat reading his lines.

We once shot a commercial for BT (remember them!) in Liverpool, round Toxteth.
The bloke in the catering van, cornered the 1st AD and asked how many crew we had on that day.
"Including extras, twenty-seven. Why?"
"I've just done 68 breakfasts!"
True story.

Just finished watching the Upper Hand. Very well written and didn't Diana Weston look wonderful in a black mini skirt barely covering her bum.
