I flew to London with my daughter and her friend in 2004 and we had tickets to see the reformed Dolls, but due to a date miscalculation we wound up skipping the show. I was sad to miss the gig, but years later it was released on DVD.

As am I George and I too saw them live in the Spring of 1963 when they were second billing to Roy Orbison, who I primarily went to see. By the time the tour got going though The Beatles were just starting to go meteoric, nevertheless they closed the first half with RO closing the show, and I remember you literally could not hear The Beatles as the screaming was incessant from the moment they came on. It was only gonna be a B side on one of the singles but I think it was Joe that said it must go on the album as it was far too good
