I've been Spotifiying it. Really like the song

CBA with The Beautiful South per se.

I wish I knew what this all meant - but I do love the song. Lolts of hidden depths to Beautiful South songs a bit like You're Gorgeous.

I'm currently listening to Battleship Potemkin by Tennant and Lowe (Pet Shop Boys).

Very good - interesting - almost classical with beats and their obvious trademarks occasionally.

Another 50p reject from the library. Well worth twice that.

Syd Barrett - Opel

Hank Williams - The Absolutely Essential Collection

The Beach Boys - Surf's Up

Lamarr on Radio 2. It's always a really interesting show.

Foo Fighters - Learn To Fly

I like to imagine you in a high armchair craning a curious ear to your radio, Dave.

Blow The House Down - Curly Hair.

The Darwin Deez album.

Dusty Springfield - Love Power

The lyrics are awe-inspiring.

Currently listening to a forgotten classic of The Jam- Liza Radley. My mates a massive Jam fan, yet he can't even remember this tune. I really enjoyed it and it is one of my favourite Jam songs- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jESRQDzqVdc
Anyone else remember it?

Never heard that one, John. What was it on originally?

I just heard this one that I'd never heard before either:

Man in The Corner Shop - The Jam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPdFQc1w5Ys&feature=related

Was on the B side for the single Start!

And how did you know my real name was John. I was born John, yet everyone at school used to call me Jack, then the family adapted to it and I've been known as it ever since.

I said it by mistake, Jack/John!
