What the f**k????????????

Language is symbolism.
A symbol is NEVER what it's supposed to represent...

I think it means understanding the difference between the meaning of words and not just how to use them effectively.

Though the relevance escapes, rather like the meaning seems to flutter away from our friend.

Like the butterfly of wit, from the clumsy bear of dogmatic thought.

All words/thought are dogmatic (ultimately).
They're good for representing *things* like dogs, houses, chairs;
but they fail miserably when used to attempt to describe "things" like love, pain & humour...

Except you used 4 words to describe those things.

Except you used 4 words to describe those things.

And none of those words are what I am pointing to...
Where do I Point...?

Is this a comedy forum?

Do tell, I was assuming you were pointless.

Comedy only "exists" in duality...

Too be honest Chappers these silly spats are always a little unfair.

Joan was a masterful wit, one of those few truly great comics who made brilliance look easy.
It's a shame so many people only remember her for the light weight fashion stuff she did.
Not the endless, effortless hour long routines where she's up the there with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal.
She was also courageous and important. She was one of the first comediennes to break the comedic silence on AIDS and 911.
Proving that comedy can be relevant.
I certainly think the world of comedy is a poorer one without her.
