But Wilfred Zaha refuses to do it knowing it's a waste of time.

That's his opinion - and his right.
The majority of his fellow players don't think that way.
That's their right.

This post got no reaction on the News thread but I feel it is incredibly internationally and politically significant.

Brilliant.

Ukraine's football shirt features a map of their country. The Russians have complained because they had "attached Ukraine's territory to Russia's Crimea", creating the "illusion of the impossible".

Everyone in the world apart from Russia knows that Crimea is part of Ukraine.

You don't think there's a hint of coersion.

It sends a strong message on a world stage.
Something they don't get too often.
Interesting to see if the pundits make any reference to it - or play safe.

Not really.
I think when Zaha and a couple of clubs said they weren't doing it, that's was people's 'Get out of Jail Free' card if they wanted to stop.
But they didn't.

Everyone knows that but they're too scared to confront them. More than likely Ukraine will be sanctioned; fined, banned or something else.

What is it with all these twats lately called Joey. Were their Mothers all frightened by budgies?

He's always been a hot head and says he's sorry after each incident.
But if he says he didn't push him - it will be hard to prove he did.

My first budgerigar was called Danny. After Danny Blanchflower.

(Just thought I'd mention it while the subject of budgerigar names and football have come together on the same thread. I may never get such an opportunity again.)
