Is there no escape from mangled vowels of the Northern Irish on BBC TV and radio lately ?

Angry

No escape and here's some Northern Irish mangled vowels from t'internet for you Oldrocker:

E, O, U, A, I.

Put that in yer pipe and smoke it and keep on paying your taxes to fund Northern Ireland, you know you want to, thanks. :P

Don't you support Chelsea, the team who lose a match and then need a new manager. And the team who printed out kits with Robinho on the back before any deal had been done..? ( If you don't support Chelsea, just ignore all of that.)

Besides Moyes would probably want to join Utd and I'd rather have him then Mourinho..

I'd rather Chelsea won it than Manchester United as I was a season ticket holder at one time. They're the only two in it now but I'd love to see other teams getting close.

As I said though I'm more interested in "real" football than those pampered over-paid prima-donnas. Sutton United are in the play-offs and should be in The Conference South next season.

Rio doesn't want the wags around.

Of course he does. They'll cramp his style.

Class isn't it? Real class.

Something to look up to.

And what is the matter with Ferdinand's mouth?

I'm shocked! I mean, £66 free bets if you sign up with William Hill!

:D

Is there any truth that Gerrard's now being called Stevie PG?

Laughing out loud

I don't really like the bloke but again I have to admit that maybe England need Gary Neville. He is determined and possibly the most consistent right back at the moment.

Yeah, we could really do with his influence in South Africa.

Did anyone hear about the 49-year-old goalie who came on as a sub and played for Dundee last week? Apparently he hadn't played a game for 10 years.

I actually think both would be a disaster which absolutely fine by me.

Mourinho just seems plain wrong. I suspect Fergie will head 'upstairs' like Sir Matt did and you can see a personality clash never being too far away if things aren't going to plan. Can you really see Fergie letting Mourinho meddle with 'his team' and the way he did things?

As for Moyes, he's clearly a great manager but he's not won anything and didn't have a playing career of any note. Remember Roy Keane and Mick McCarthy? As soon as there's a problem the players will say "Who the hell are you anyway?"

The stars will have medals galore and been to major championships but Moyes hasn't so won't command respect. While Fergie wasn't a great success as a player if memory serves he did at least win things with Aberdeen. It took him four years to win a trophy at Old Trafford and there's no way his successor will be given that amount of time.

Wenger would've gone by if it wasn't for his reputation and even their fans are getting twitchy now.

Whoever comes in United fans better hope that Fergie is out the door and not any way involved in the running of the club because his shadow is just too great.
