That's the one. It was late in his film career and I guess the type of films he was famous for had pretty much stopped being made.

Thanks Norman for some great physical comedy, visual comedy, silly comedy and some really funny films, especially The Early Bird, a classic with you at the top of your game. The opening waking up scene is a masterpiece of physical comedy on its own. And I just love that golf scene, it goes on forever but it is simply brilliant! What a talent you were!

That Channel 4 lot are obsessed with that sort of rubbish. I noticed that C4 News reader digging for stuff earlier in an interview. 'What about his dark side?' he trashily asked someone who knew him. 'He didn't have one.' Came the reply. That shut him up. Liberal twat.

I remember seeing What's Good for the Goose when I was a teenager and thinking it pretty racy. Although I recognise it's not seen as one of Wisdom's best.
Reading his obit in The Times. Quite a struggle he went through in the early days. Plus, I didn't realise that both of his wives had ended-up leaving him. Interesting.

His father sounded nasty bit of work. The story of him walking from London to Cardiff then ending up going down the mines was interesting, he also worked on board a ship that sailed from Cardiff to Argentina
