I agree, although
20lb isn't really an 'alarming' weight loss, is it. He didn't look particularly gaunt either, so much as 'chiseled'.

Not if that's the real amount he's lost. But by the pictures I thought he looked tremendously unwell.

For some stupid reason I clicked the link on BBC News for the story about a spider infestation at a school. Bam! Giant picture of spiders. Obviously. I'm so f**king stupid!

Gah!

Interesting that this fearsome spider is pictured crawling across someone's arm. That guy clearly wasn't too scared.
It's probably best that the school is being fumigated to be safe, but quotes from the text illustrate the extent of the danger:

"There have been no reports of anyone being bitten by the false widow spiders at the academy"
"There have been no reported deaths from its bite in the UK."
"they do not move very quickly and are not aggressive."

By comparison, 27,771 people landed in hospital in just one year because of guess what?...well, click if you dare: https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQtdKg6NCuRchaB3PX1gpRZ7Q234wrqz5xJgU1BiCKNVyDAVVtBiA

This is quite troubling. Two children have been taken away from their Roma parents on the basis that they don't look enough like them, despite the parents providing documentation that shows that they are the real parents. The Greek case is extremely unusual, but Irish police have used it as an excuse for racial stereotyping. Can't imagine police removing a child from any other ethnic group on that kind of evidence.

You're still bitter about being raised by wolves, then getting adopted by Mormons?

Kidding, its complex the case does look dubious.

The stories of slaves gangs of homeless people, freaked me.

I guess if this kinda thing happened more often the police would be arrested roma all the time, I mean its not like they're especially nice to them.

Well, obviously there are times when the police are going to make errors, but taking children away one two separate occasions in one week just because they don't look like their parents - that's really extraordinary to me.

I was so happy with those wolves...

Yeh I was raised by beavers, the jokes at school.

Do your parents give you wood when you get home.

Your home is dam awful.

You're the gnawtiest kid in class.

I'm here all week.

Your parents are c**ts awful.

But the head of the gypsy union put it well when he said
