Introducing Owyn & Co

Hi there one and all,

My names Owyn and I run Owyn & Co, a comedy collective that has its roots at a residency at the wonderful Ritzy Picturehouse in Brixton.

After writing and performing for the past 2 years, we made the jump to filmed comedy with the launch of our YouTube Channel.

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/user/OwynAndCo?feature=mhee

So far all the sketches we've released have gone viral

Knightmare (Parody): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERLLUoZn0mM

When He-Man met Lion-O: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Fn3FjIJlk&noredirect=1

The Storytellers Quest...: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuQnwWAqcwM

I've been blown away by the response and we've had meetings and contacts made with TV production companies and channels alike.

From 2013 I'll be actively looking for all manner of professionals in order to make more comedy.

If this sounds like your cup of tea, check out the website on how to apply: http://www.owynand.co.uk/#!contact/c24vq

Long-time fan of the British Comedy Guide, keep on trucking!

Hope to work with some of you in the new year..

Best,
Owyn Stephens

Love to be involved.

Went to a talk by the founder of Fighting Fantasy books and the story teller videos brought all those memories back.

it is indeed a class act

Hi Wave

I've enjoyed all the sketches; really good work, well done.

This thread should be pinned as a reference for some other showcase posters.

Both in terms of polished product and good manners.

It's been over and hour and I'm still saluting.

Knightmare Parody was excellent! (Haven't watched the others yet).

He is very good at not blinking.

Indeed.
A very surefooted poster.
Good material, too.

Hey there all,

Hadn't come back here for a while, thanks for the niceness all round, much appreciated.

Our latest comedy bit can be found online here:
It's called ' The Kitten Sketch' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPym3FnE1SM

Love to know what you think...

After going to a few meetings I'm starting to pitch for commissions, this means I'm looking for other writers work.

I'd love to look at the very best work writers have got for sketches on this forum.

HAS TO BE!:
Formatted correctly in Final Draft or Celtx (PDF of either is fine)
5 pages max and thinking specifically for the visual/internet medium.

Looking forward to making some connections and some funnies.

Best,

Owyn

Hi & Welcome to BCG Wave

Thought they were awesome! good original stuff... well done!! makes me feel slightly foolish about my YouTube channel I have posted within the last hour

But well done, and I have subscribed!!!

Owyn and Co,

Know that my colleagues and I regard you and your output as a serious obstruction to our pursuit of the UK internet comedy crown. Younger, smarter and more sexually magnetic you may be, but rest assured, on the field of sketch battle, we will annihilate you. Consider this a shot across the bow, and know that your day of reckoning is nigh.

All the best,

David Bussell
