What's the most stupid song lyric? Page 4

:) The quote is from the song' first of the gang to die'.

Morrissey has made a few albums of his own work, this is from 'You are the Quarry'.

A brilliant work, I believe his best since Smiths, always makes me cry. Teary

I knew that. I've got the album and as I say I don't think it's a bad lyric. I meant some of the other lyrics mentioned here.

I don't want to see a ghost
It's the sight that I fear most
I'd rather have a piece of toast
Watch the evening news.

Without a doubt.

The Number 9 The Number 9 The Number 9 etc

There was a song by Alison Moyet.

"For a warm injection" and "I want you to grow in my hand."

What's that all about then?

Mike Oldfield - Moonlight Shadow.

"4a.m in the morning..."

Would 4a.m happen at any other time?

(Also the song reminds me of Simon Day as Dave Angel)

Well, you see Son, it's like this . . .

When a man and a lady, well, like each other a lot .. what's that Love? Tea's ready? OK.

We'll carry on with this some other time Son.

He's a boy, you want a girl so tear off his cock
Tie his hair in bunches, f**k him, call him Rita if you want

lool!

Lenny Kravitz is cack, obviously, and these lines from Fly Away always make my stomach attempt to digest itself:

"I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly"

Pure shit.

aye

utter utter bollocks

a 5 year old could do much, much better

Quote: Matthew Stott @ September 2 2011, 10:01 PM BST

"I wish that I could fly

Just like a dragonfly"

It actually has a very deep meaning in those lyrics. He's saying that he wishes he could fly, into the sky (so very high). Just like a dragonfly. Poetry. He evens rhymes the word fly twice. I bet you couldn't do that Mr Smartarse-fartarse.

Don't dragonfly only go about 10 foot in the air and normally hang around swamps and ponds?

Genius.

The Klaxons have got some bizarre lyrics

Razorlight's 'Somewhere Else':

I met a girl
She asked me my name
I told her what it was

Slash Dot Dash by Fatboy Slim.

This one is the thread finisher. The be all end all of stupid asinine lyrics.

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.

;)

Don't get me started on the line about 'rebellious Scots'!
