A Touch Of Cloth

Sounds like one of his TVGoHome listings-

I'll put money on that not being the final title. It may be the working title but I don't see image conscious Sky going with that title airing. MOO.

They've announced it, and Charlie Brooker's a good name. How much, Mr Kipper?

Half a pound of NOTHING!!!

John "Bloody" Hannah?

Sounds an interesting piece of casting John Hannah as he is the sort of actor that does these kind of cliched crime dramas.

My point is that British TV crime dramas have almost come a spoof of themselves anyway and this drama won't have many funny 'that's so true' moments that we didn't already know.

Still wait and see.

Just about to start a thread for this. Good job I'm a good boy and searched first. :D

The name alone makes me smile. I'm looking forward to it.

Reading that made me warm to it and if it's anything as good as the underseen Police Squad, it will be fine.

I wonder who is available to play 'vampish forensic pathologist Natasha Sachet.'

I'll consume anything ejaculated from Brooker's pen and love it.

It's a pity he's chosen to spoof crime dramas. I don't watch crime dramas, so it might go over my head.

Time to sit through a bunch of box sets, I reckon, to prime myself for the jokes.

Seems to be holding so far-https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/00000648/skys_little_crackers_series_2_comedians/

On my way home from a screening of this. I'm jealous of you bastards who've still got it to look forward to. Ridiculously funny. Cannot wait to see the second installment.

Just checked the date for the 90 minute(!) opening special. August so not long to wait.

I must admit whenever I see the title I think of that Mitchell and Webb sketch where they are brainstorming a name for the dry-cleaning business...

90 minutes without adverts!

What's a screening?

An event. Where they show it. On a screen. :)
