In my very humble opinion a few could have done with ending a bit sooner than did (like ours should have before the beginning!) however for its simplicity and sheer lunacy I'll go with The Cool Mikado.

Cool Mikado gets my nod. Great visual, nice and simple, easily filmed.

Not wishing to be bitter (insert the fact that actually I am), but did some of the entries voted for adhere to the 'light entertainment' brief?

If the light entertainment brief meant a sketch/etc. an entry to be merely viewed on a light entertainment show then I apologise. Otherwise, what was the point?

And as for some being too long, I didn't realise there was a word limit!

Mate, my point was that some entered should have finished sooner (a line or two?) rather than stretch the point or try to over-emphasise it.
Not meant as a critique of the actual length of individual entries.
