Richard Wattis -63

I never knew he had been younger than 63!

Ricky Gervais at that Princess Di memorial concert. Probably not the best place for comedy, although public reaction to her death made me laugh ;)

:D

Such an urban myth, that (Ricky part of your post) has become.
I watched on t'telly and he didn't go down remotely badly at all. Oh well.

I watched his spat, and as a Gervais fan (I know some aren't) I still thought he bombed.

spat?

bit, gig, 5 mins

Oh I see, I've never heard it called that before!

Pat Roach (67) throat cancer

Micheal Robbins (62) cancer

Arthur Lowe- 67. Quite a young age for who is for me the greatest comic actor of all time.

Brian Hall- 59 of cancer. Played Terry in Fawlty Towers.
Dino Shafeek- 54, rumours suggest suicide, played Char Wallah Mohammed in It Aint Half Hot Mum.

Lennard Pearce (Granddad, Only Fools and Horses) - 69 - Heart attack

Buster Merryfield (Uncle Albert) - 78 - Brain tumour

Malcolm Hardee (55) Drowning (accidental. He was drunk when he fell in the Thames.)

I haven't read through all this thread, but I'm sure these will have already been mentioned: Ronnie Barker and Richard Beckinsale. Richard was just 31 when he died of a heart attack, shocking. Edit: after reading the thread I've seen several people have mentioned them.

Kenneth MacDonald, Mike the landlord from Only Fool's and Horses. Was only 50.

I had no idea he was dead! Shit.

I'm gonna bawl like a baby girl when David Jason dies.

Is that really prematurely? I wouldn't mind living that long.

Dave Chapman- A man of ambition.

You'd have loved to have died then. Instead it just keeps dragging on, and on, and on...
