Guilt - The sitcoms you daren't admit you love?

I'll have to go first I guess as this is my thread.......

Man About The House / George and Mildred - I'm sorry but it's genius comedy! (Robins' Nest... not so much)

Brush Strokes - Series one

Sorry! - Ronnie Corbett is a comedy legend

Please Sir - Utter Utter crap, but I love it!

Oh and how could I forget, Terry and June! A sit-com so unfunny it makes my jaws ache from biting the carpet in embarrassment

I loathed Sorry, but that was probably due to being called Timothy and resembling the main character more than I was prepared to admit...

George & Mildred was actually quite enjoyable, and yes the first series of Brush Strokes was not so bad (am I right in thinking that was another Bob Larbey effort?)

Yes that's right. It had an awful theme tune though.

Do you have any embarrassing sit-com loves

The Good Life?

There's no reason to feel ashamed over The Good Life young Leevil! That is comedy genius.

Love thy neighbour.

Not really, Allo Allo maybe. But to be honest there are more I am embarrassed to admit to not loving. e.g Alan Partridge, The Office...

I'm not ashamed, but I liked the apparently unpopular Nathan Barley and Never Better.

In keeping with Timbo's revelation, I'll say this...(prepping to be lambasted)...I think Father Ted is over rated. Hit me with your best shot, I can take it. Would it take the edge off to know I don't like Red Dwarf either? Probably didn't help, eh?

Hey, I also think Supernova and Hyperdrive are bad!

Oh, and the Good Life is awesome!!

I love 'Nathan Barley' but what was 'Never Better'?

Oh my gosh, not sure I'd admit to that! (if I liked it, which I don't)

Never Better just aired last year. Stephen Mangan as a guy in AA. Wasn't well received but I enjoyed it.

Oh yeah. I saw it. Never could remember the name. I thought it was absolutely great. I hope they make another one.

I liked Fresh Fields when I was a kid. And am ashamed to admit having seen it again recently I still quite like it.

I seem to be the only person who liked Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive.

There are sitcoms I hate that make me very unpopular though: Spaced and The Mighty Boosh.

I've not got around to watching series 2 yet, but Annually Retentive was great.

Boosh I can understand; just on the side of enjoyable/tolerable for me.

And Spaced is the least funny sitcom this decade. Including All About Me.

You should be embarrassed if you don't like 'Allo 'Allo!.

And I caught a bit of Will And Grace on C4 the other day. God that's shit.

I also liked Annually Retentive, and don't get Boosh at all. Spaced was not bad, just overrated, as is Simon Pegg in general.

And Will and Grace is indeed a complete turd.

Never Better - Good.
Nathan Barley - Really hated it, but intending to watch again soon.
Father Ted - Agreed. Good, very funny at times, but not amazing.
Supernova - Not brilliant, but again it has its moments.
Hyperdrive - Utter shite.

Oh my gosh, not sure I'd admit to that!

Why not? The 'racist' stigma the show has?

Agreed.

Duty Free. In many ways this is far superior to Bennidorm.
