Does anyone want to post the current running order, or is that 'not done' with the treason show?

So that's a no then. Pleased

And here's my impression of a monkey

"silence"

it was a monk's key

arf arf!

Hee. Thanks!

Aside from checking (vainly I expect) for my own, I also like to know what sort of things they are interested in.

Thanks buddy.

Zoooo I really don't know what the politics of this is, so I would err on the side of caution. (I think this is different from the NewsRevue running order in that this is the state of the show in development, so I suspect Mark wouldn't want his updates published on an Internet board. The NR info is the final running order as performed to the public, so really not much of a secret.)

I understand. Maybe the final running order would be okay when it comes out? Not sure how it works.

Pleasure I'll tkae it down now, but I'll ask Mark if I can put it back up.

As for Treason, hmmm think robust, solid gags, don't go for to obscure a story, and don't try and be to clever. Always think would this be fun to play ? (e.g. randy royals, shagging gags), avoid anything too nasty (Maddy in NR ok not in TS), and big solid singalong songs (they actually do that).

A well structured gag has always got a good chance.

Character comedy not so much.

n.b. these are pretty standard.

1 Americans are fat, and thick
2 David Cameron is Lelsie Philips
3 George Bush is a bit thick, and talks to a female bodyguard (who he calls son)
4 Gordon Brown is a bit nerdy, and pathetic. He sounds like Darth Vader

There's a John Barrowman sketch.
It couldn't be, could it?

Zooo?

Thanks Sooty and Griff. :) It all helps. (eventually, one hopes.)

I wish!

No, it's not mine.
I would have thought he was too specialist. There's even a Dr Who one!
I will have to rethink my focus. ;)

Well, if ever there was a 'specialist' on these two subjects :)

I didn't know you wrote sketches btw! Will we ever have the honour of reading them on here?

Nah, I'm too shy.

(Although letting the people at Newsrevue etc read them is fine, apparently.) :S

Well, there is a big difference I can see that.
But 'shy'?
Are you sure???

Ah, I think I'm coming to grips more with how this show works.

Looks like my Kyle sketch got in, which is on the forum somewhere. No songs. They always say they want songs, but it does seem an awful lot of effort. I mean, it takes about five times the time/effort to make a good solid song than a skit, IMO.

... But what's "The Naked Gag"?!

Mark has a habit of appearing naked in the show.

I found out last month.

Well done everyone who got stuff in.

:O

Anyway James well done for this - and Sooty.

Looks like the payment here is better than Newsrevue then.

Has anyone ever written a naked gag?

I think I must be a subconcious homophobe, as I have never written one.

You should write that sketch: 'The Subconscious Homophobe'. End it with him getting naked...
